Nothing Bundt Cakes

I tried Nothing Bundt Cakes for the first time in TX, before it even came out to this area. I wasn't terribly impressed being that I used to bake from scratch back then. The only thing that I truly appreciated was that they were individually packaged. I remember the chocolate cake was very dry but the yellow was moist but oily.

Apparently I signed up for their mailing list and always received deals, but ignored them since I never had time to go out there. Well, this time I finally was passing by this location and happen to have a BOGO Free coupon. I remembered not to select the chocolate ones and chose confetti and carrot cake. The icing was extremely sweet the cake itself was very greasy. Oddly enough, I still enjoyed eating it. I put the remainder in the freezer to avoid eating in one sitting, and since it was so greasy, it was just as good as the day I purchased it.

The customer service was almost robotic, instead of "yes" or "no" responses, she had to follow up with an unnecessary response. For example, I simply asked if they had any utensils, and instead of "No, we don't", she had to say "no, we are not a so and so establishment".  She was nice, but it was just a weird interaction.

The shop itself was nicely decorated and well-maintained. They don't have a bathroom or seating area.

I'm not sure if they aren't receiving enough business, I did receive another email for BOGO Free, and if I kept the receipt, there was a survey available, resulting in a BOGO Free. I don't know when I'll have a chance to go back out there again, so I didn't bother saving the email or receipt.

There is plenty of parking available in front of the establishment, shared with neighboring businesses.

I usually order from this location but I had an incredible experience with Maya and her manager so I just had to share!

I had a pickup order today for a surprise engagement party when we got word that the couple might be arriving earlier than planned. When I reached out to see if it was possible to push my pickup a couple hours earlier, Maya was so kind over the phone and her manager agreed to make the exception for my friend's special occasion. Amazing customer service and I will definitely keep coming back to this location!

I wish I could give them more stars for Best customer service as I always had great experience with them. Today they were able to accommodate my big order in few minutes and were quick to put everything together. Great staff and yes delicious cakes! Highly recommend this location!

I love this place. Anytime I am in Sterling I go out of my way for one of their cakes. They are so moist and fresh tasting. I ordered the Chocolate small bundt, also the Confetti for the kids and White chocolate raspberry for the misses. All excellent tasting and moist. I would recommend them anytime for any occassion. If it's an office party, office get together, birthday or an excuse to reward yourself. Any excuse is ok for me. Melissa, the front end manager, is awesome, polite, friendly and professional. She resolved an issue I had without hesitation. I highly recommend them. If you've never been, give them a try you won't be disappointed.

The only reason for the 4 stars was because I spent $99 dollars and I had received an email stating if I spent $10 at this particular location during the designated week I would get $5 off. Well there was no way to add the coupon to my online order and when I showed up in person at the location they couldn’t apply the coupon either. Aside from that the cakes have always tasted delicious and it’s in a convenient location.

These should be "Bundtinis" and as far as I understand they should have frostings on them? I am taking 1 star off for that missing frosting not because it was a mistake ( that's service and not quality nor taste so I won't hold that against them here) but mainly because it was much needed. These mini cakes are terrific as they are not very sweet nor "buttery." So don't expect this to be like a pound cake. Not like a pound cake, more like a cross between angel food cake and a yellow cake. Just to be fair the texture is great, flavor is great, service was good, clean appearance and box is well wrapped. Presentations is there.
I love the different fruits and chocolate in the bottom of the cake that's different, nice to try different.
Will try again on frosting next time.

If I could I would pull have given 0 stars. First when initially opened they gave out coupon to redeem a bundlet every month, they did not honor it because of pandemic. Second strike I placed 3 orders for bund cakes for teacher appreciation. They did not have them ready when I even called to make sure so I would not be late . Third the front desk is always awful when it come to basic manners sometimes you get lucky and you get a fresh batch and others it s just nasty lastly they seem to be resizing things yet keeping prices up. No need to reach back and offer anything or even say give to another try. Instead people go and get bakeries from Mexican bakeries wegmans even Costco. They don t cheap out on products.! Plus you get what you paid for nothing missing nothing delayed and better customer interaction.

After trying your cakes at work which were absolutely delicious, I brought my husband in to splurge on an assortment of your bundtinis. We chose the lemon, white chocolate raspberry, red Velvet, and the chocolate chocolate chip. Three of the four were incredibly moist, my favorites being the lemon and white chocolate raspberry. However we were very disappointed with the chocolate chocolate chip, the cake texture was dry and it tasted days old.

I was here at 5:55 pm, 5 min before they closed and they already shut down the blinds and locked the gate. There was a lady sweeping the floor and a person inside the store but they did not bother to open the gates even when technically the store should ve stayed open. I knocked on the gates, they both saw me but decided they will just ignore and continue mopping and wrapping up. I am very disappointed with the service, I would def. not be bringing back any business here.

Very disappointed, went to the Dulles location on Tuesday, their hours were posted on the door that they close at 6:30, I got there at 6:15 and the doors were locked and a lady was mopping. Very upset considering we drove all the way there just for the doors to be locked.

First and last time ordering from Nothing Bundt Cakes. My wife ordered 2 bundtini cakes for our kids to give their teachers for Thanksgiving and when I went to pick them up they had no record of the order number or her name in their system. After waiting almost 5 hours for them to research what happened with her order they called back at 5:40 p.m. and said they found the receipt for the order. They asked if we could come pick them up before they closed at 6. School ended 4 hours ago and is closed tomorrow so there s no way the teachers will get their gift. They offered a store credit instead of processing a refund for what we were told is a pre-made item i.e. something I could have just picked up had they been able to locate a record of the order. $76 for 2 cakes is a bit high but they couldn t even be bothered to deliver what was paid for. The entire experience with this company and location was unsatisfactory and I would not recommend them. Customer service is obviously not a priority for them. We ll find other options for baked goods gifts in the future. Edit: Adding a star back for the follow-up received and a satisfactory resolution to this transaction. After reaching out to the company through their service email I was contacted by the owner who addressed our concerns and processed a refund. He also offered a complimentary bundtini which is appreciated.

I visited this location on my birthday 6/19 and it was amazing! The cashier Melissa was so helpful and kind. The manager Jordan was also very nice and helpful too! I would absolutely visit again when come back to VA. Thank you ladies.

The bakers are fantastic, they work extremely hard. Management is great as well, very easy to relate to & get along with. Ownership is a bit lacking, but the guidance put in place by management covers it up a bit. The Cakes are top tier, although after observing how theyre made & what theyre made of, the prices are ridiculously expensive.

I ve been to nothing bunt cakes several times. Their red velvet cake is amazing. Yesterday I had the worst customer service I ve had in the longest time. I had my entire day planned out. I went online and ordered a cake for my sons 1st birthday. I called right when I was arriving said I was outside. They said they were packing up my food and bringing it out . I waited 30 minutes out front. I called them again and the lady got very upset with me and said they don t do curbside pick up and that I needed to get down. I ended up grabbing my son out of his car seat and we were 45 minutes late to his birthday because of this. Online they advertise curbside. So if you want curbside be ready to go in or to wait a bit.

My husband tried these cakes in a reunion and brought me one OMG Later in time, I ordered online for pick up for a reunion a had but it was cancelled so l called and they were so kind to cancel my order. Without doubt, l needed to go and buy more. ALL of them....absolutely yummy, the staff so friendly. l would go back again. Great great concept

This place has the best customer service and to top it all off the cakes are delicious!! Even though I came near closing time, the manager Melisa went out of her way to explain all the options to me. This was a great first time experience and I definitely will be coming back!! The carrot and snickerdoodle are my favorite but all the cakes were delicious and moist. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for something sweet and cute.

The owner is a client of mine and stopped by our showroom with some of her delicious little cakes this afternoon. Our team was thrilled with the impromptu Friday afternoon surprise and devoured them instantly! We will absolutely be paying her a visit soon. They were SO delectable and France is just as sweet!

Went in there to pick up an online order, was immediately greeted and helped, stood there waiting and as a new employee came out the back they all asked if i was already helped, and it really reassured me that customer service is their main priority. they offered me to try the limited time strawberry special. Everyone was so nice and it was just very refreshing seeing a store being ran by great employees, it was 3 women and 2 men working that i saw, all so nice and aware of EVERYONE in the store. :)

I love this place. The staff is always so friendly and kind! Manager on duty (Melissa I believe was her name ) gave me outstanding customer service when asked to provide me a allergen label. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for delicious treats and great costumer service!

Red velvet is to die for very good. I think it s the chocolate chips in it that makes me enjoy it and very moist. One of the pictures is with less of the icing an option you can get them to do when you order a cake and the other is a bundlet perfect size of a personal cake.

Ordered two dozen custom bundtinis for a work birthday event. They had them ready and on time the following day. Every person that ate one was amazed with how moist and delicious they were. This was my first time ordering from this bakery and I will definitely be ordering again.

Not only are the cakes the absolute best, but customer service is always on point! Melissa, the baking manager saved the day yesterday when I apparently didnt complete an online order properly (I should have known when I did not recieve a confirmation email). She got my cake out in 15 min with all of the personalized items I asked for. Did mention how delicious the cakes are?

These cakes are UHHHH-MAZING!!!! I ve tried the marble, lemon, and birthday cake and they were all so sweet and sooooooo moist, it was delicious! I actually ate these cakes two days after I received them and the quality was still superb. I was extremely amazed how incredibly moist they were and fresh tasting! I will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone!

I live out is state and l wanted to order a cake for my sons 23 Nov birthday. I had just ordered a Nothing Bundt Cake for my other sons birthday earlier this month and it was beautiful and delicious (confetti). I called this morning and spoke with Melissa, who we ad wonderful and so accommodating, and had a 8 inch birthday cake (white chocolate raspberry) ready by 1pm for my son to pick up. Melissa is a gold star thank you!! My son wad super surprised and so happy!! Thank you all so much!

I placed an order with the dulles location for my co-workers birthday... Alex V (I got the name from the receipt) took my order. Alex was INCREDIBLY helpful in making sure I was aware of all of the different options available to me while ordering over the phone. This location is the best. Incredibly awesome cakes and sincere, friendly staff. They saved me today by taking care of a preorder by our daughter living in another state for her Mom that i was delayed in picking up. We picked up a dozen from the Lenah Mill drop off yesterday. They are all gone. Unbelievably delicious. No more cupcakes from anywhere for me. These were the most awesome dessert ever. Can t wait for another dropoff

This place has such great cakes! There are samples so you can try a flavor before you buy it. Sign up for emails and you can get offers for buy one get one free, and a treat for your birthday. The staff is always very friendly. I go here more often than I should!

I had one of the most pleasant experiences I have had in awhile at any business. Melissa (I hope I got her name correct) went above and beyond and although I live a ways I will be a loyal customer now! I drove from MD in traffic to get these delicious cakes. I unfortunately got there once the shop was closed. I sadly walked back to my car but before I got there Melissa opened the shop door and even though closed allowed me to make a purchase. I was so thrilled by her pleasant attitude and willingness to allow me to make a purchase especially after traveling so far. She was so sweet and helpful and did not try to rush me out while I was being a tad indecisive about my flavor choice. Not only are the cakes delicious, moist and dont dry out even after days in the fridge but the customer service was phenomenal! Watch out Chick Fila, Melissa from Nothing Bundt Cakes was a breath of fresh air and put this location on the top of my list!

A colleague brought a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes into the office a couple of weeks ago and it was phenomenal. Today is my wife s birthday so I bought a small cake for her and me to share. Once again perfect! These cakes are probably the best cakes I have ever tasted. The cake is super moist and has treat flavor. The icing is sweet and just enough. I will be back.

My daughter and I were in town for a concert and it was her birthday. We stopped by here to get a small cake since it was just us celebrating. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I got the only gluten free option available (chocolate chip cookie flavored bunt cake) and it was the best gluten free dessert I have eaten in years!! My daughter loved hers as well. I think we both hurt ourselves trying to finish eating them. Very much recommend

My family and I have been ordering from here for a long time now. Today we ordered a cake for an event over the phone and the employee who took the order asked if we wanted to pay now (over the phone) or in person I told him in person & the employee said it will be ready in 10-15 minutes. We get to the place and i tell them that I had ordered a cake and I give them my last name. One of the employees goes back and comes back to let us know that they HAVE NOT YET STARTED WORKING ON THE CAKE because they have not received the payment. That is understandable but WHY WAS I NOT TOLD when I was placing the order over the phone?!?!?! This was very upseting & my family & I think we will not be ordering from them anymore.

OMG! Just go now. Drop what you are doing. Who cares if you are in sweat pants. Go. We tried the chocolate chip, pumpkin and pecan. Loved them all but the chocolate chip was my fav. The cakes are AMAZING but super disappointed to not be able to pick 2 dozen cupcakes of vanilla and chocolate for my sons birthday. It s not just a time for holiday parties. Really disappointed I would have paid extra just to get my son what he wants. As if having a birthday a week before Christmas wasn t hard enough.... not only did you lose out on my 2 dozen today but my cake for Monday too. I m really disappointed in the lack of flexibility/advertising not letting you pick your own darn flavors...

I picked up an order I placed online for seven individual bundt cakes yesterday. I live an hour away from this place but its so worth it to me. Once I arrived home, I looked at my order and realized they made a mistake. I called them to let them know. Guess what! They sent a driver to my home (1 hour away!) to deliver the cake! They even gave me an extra! They definitely have my business from now on. This goes beyond kindness. Awesome customer service! Please keep up the great work! Thank you!

If I could give this location above a 5 star rating I would. 10+. Customer Service over the top! Flexibility in helping me, being out of town they were willing to help! The customer service was awesome and their ability to be creative and make it happen was so refreshing. Cant find that in our world today. Being from Chicago with lots of choices of Nothing Bundt Cakes in Our area. Virginia you are going to love these cakes. Thank you Dulles location. I really appreciate your effort and the ability to be nothing Bundt awesome. #sogood! Be looking out for the Vienne location coming soon! Cant wait!

You can t go wrong with this place! These cakes are very moist and delicious. Probably the best I ve ever had! Their customer service is great too. I discovered them at a friend s birthday party. I got a 2 tier cake for my own birthday party which served 30 people and they were all asking where I got it from. The price is very reasonable too. Highly recommend this place!

Omg these are absolutely delicious i was up in here in VA for work from NJ and i absolutely fell in love with these bundt cakes , they are so moist and just melt in your mouth also very reasonably priced i would definitely recommend to anyone visiting or in the area to stop in you wont regret it.....I will be taking some back home to NJ...yummy...

Absolutely wonderful cakes, but 100% they have to do better with taking orders on the phone. Twice within one week, I ve been made to feel bad for my card declining when in fact they took down the information incorrectly. The first time the gentlemen called back and informed me of this and we tried again after I frantically checked my account. He missed a number from my card. Second time they couldn t even call me back because not only was my security number written down incorrectly but my phone number as well. I m not sure about others but first of all I rather them not write down all of this information. And two, why not streamline the process by processing payment while the customer is on the phone. Still take down a phone number, but why wait till things go sour to inform them and risk not getting ahold of them for whatever reason their fault or not. I love this store and I come so frequently, but I m super disappointed. Granted I came late and didn t realize they close at 6, and they kindly, but begrudgingly, let me it. They didn t even offer to try to fix what happened and make an effort to put the order together for me right then and there. I wouldn t want to give my business to them but they re the only one in the area.

Love! Love! Love! I make it a point to visit this location once a week. I even buy multiple cakes to take to work for people who do not have a store near them. Will be visiting again and again. I have never tasted a flavor that I do not like. I normally end up picking my cake based on a sample that I ve tried during one of my visits.

Ordered the white chocolate raspberry cake online for my granddaughter s birthday. I was a little worried because I had read other reviews about issues with orders but everything turned out perfect . My cake was ready on time , it actually took me less than one minute to pick it up ! I parked just in front and a smiley and nice employee brought my cake out . And it was delicious, most of the guests hadn t heard of Nothing Bundt Cakes and were impressed with the quality of the cake !!

The cakes are delicious and at great price. The only reason why I m giving this location a 3 stars is because they are lacking in customer service. I went in for the first time to place an order for my daughter s birthday party. I have read the reviews online and after inquiring about the pricing I had made the decision to use them for the event. They had a batch of the lemon flavored cake and it s consistency and flavor was amazing. I went ahead and proceeded to place the order for two dozens of their bundtinies which I picked a variety of their flavors without tasting them which I was ok with since I they were a lot of flavors and I really don t like a lot of them... I also wanted to order a 10 cake but for this one I really wanted to make sure I pick a good flavor. I proceeded to ask if I could sample the vanilla cake and the told me they only had the lemon available for sampling. They had vanilla mini bundt cakes available for sale but they wouldn t make it available for me to sample even when they knew I was a first time customer and placing an order for a birthday. I didn t make a big deal, and since I really liked the lemon one which was the one I had tasted, I placed the order for a 10 lemon flavor. I purchased a vanilla mini bundt and took it home to taste it with my daughter and husband. We ended up preferring the vanilla over the lemon. Two days later I went back to change my order from lemon to vanilla. The manager was there and I took the opportunity to share my feedback about the sampling to which she was very dismissive. It is shame that the only thing this business is lacking to receive a 5 star rating is some good old customer service.

We first grew to love this company in San Diego, CA. We were pleasantly surprised when a new location popped up near us. With hubby s birthday quickly approaching, I placed an order for a dozen bundtlets online for pick up the following day. When I arrived to pick up the cakes, I was told I had not placed an order. Yet, I had an email confirmation and had already been charged as verified via online banking. I was told there was an error with their online system and they didn t have the order. I was asked to wait while they prepared my order. Never once was I offered anything for my time or the inconvienence of having to wait 20 minutes for them to assemble my order. Although the cakes are as delicious as I remember, their customer service leaves something to be desired!

I absolutely love this place. There cakes and icing is simply magical. I had this in a different part of the country and was ecstatic when I found out this location opened. The staff is very nice as well.

These should be Bundtinis and as far as I understand they should have frostings on them? I am taking 1 star off for that missing frosting not because it was a mistake ( thats service and not quality nor taste so I wont hold that against them here) but mainly because it was much needed. These mini cakes are terrific as they are not very sweet nor buttery. So dont expect this to be like a pound cake. Not like a pound cake, more like a cross between angel food cake and a yellow cake. Just to be fair the texture is great, flavor is great, service was good, clean appearance and box is well wrapped. Presentations is there. I love the different fruits and chocolate in the bottom of the cake thats different, nice to try different. Will try again on frosting next time.

Tried out two mini Bundt cakes. Husband got the chocolate chocolate chip and I got the pumpkin spice. Both were very moist and flavorful. Service was very friendly and helpful. Place was really cute and very clean. Also priced well. Ive had cupcakes priced the same that didnt taste nearly this good! Will be going back for more!
