Paper Dreams is connected inside to Village Books. There is something for everyone in this part of the shop.
I love the confectionery station with classic and curated candy selection.
The store features Bellingham and PNW themed clothing, more books, toys for kids and adults, candles, kitchen wear, cards, journals, etc
Don’t miss this shop when I’m Fairhaven.

One of our favorite stores in Fairhaven. Great place for gift ideas, cards, clothing, things for the house, lotions and snacks! Having the bookstore connected can make for a great hour, or longer, shopping experience. We always bring our out-of-town guests to Paper Dreams as they ALWAYS find something of interest to take home.

Great place to buy gifts or decor items and they always have seasonally themed items. Also have greeting cards, wrap, kitchen items, novelty items, scarves, personal care, socks, stationary and journals, jewelry....and candy. And, oh -- the fudge! This is one of my go-to places for gifts. Or just to pick up something fun for myself. Friendly, helpful staff. Paper Dreams is owned by and adjacent to (open to) Village Books and you can pay for things from either store on either side.

Bellingham's best location for rainy-day browsing, greeting and holiday cards. While the kitchen, bath, jewellery and other novelty items are priced rather high, it's fun to wander about and a great place to take children and out-of-town guests alike. The shop is connected with Village Books and items from both can be purchased at either store's counter.

Had fun walking around to see all the offerings and was nice to have the stores linked. Was very displeased with the customer service I received when purchasing. I purchased a few cards and a fairly expensive mug. The person that rang it up told me to have a nice day and left everything on the counter. I had to ask for a bag...so she gave me a paper card bag and was just going to put the mug in with the cards unprotected. Had to ask for it to be wrapped in tissue. She wrapped one piece of tissue around the mug and and stuck it all together in the card bag. Not awesome on a rainy day to walk around with. Definitely left something to be desired after spending $40 there. Buyer beware.

My mother and I went into the store this evening and were yelled By Laura for not wearing masks!! We both are fully vaccinationated and disabled requiring us not to have to wear masks due to health concerns "Asthma and Heart issues. We both have exemptions and cards stating so. And when we both informed her we didn't have to due to those concerns, she yelled/berated us in front of the whole store, other customers/employees heard Laura due this, which is very embarrassing. We will not be going back unless we get an apology from the Owner, Manager, and Laura!! How frickin rude to do to someone that is DISABLED and we even quoted the law and ADA!!!!

What an amazing place! It's sort of like combining a library and decoration and sweet shops all into one place... with a great result! Definitely worth a stop for passer-bys or even first-timers in Bellingham/Fairhaven.

Incredibly well decorated gift shop. It's easy to spend over an hour here just looking at things. The prices are a bit too steep though.
