Great selection of plants. The staff are really nice and the store is clean. They have a large selection of plants along with other things such as grills, garden tools, decrotive signs, etc. It is a great place for gifts and supplies. Definite a good place to go for any of the necessary outdoors items you need.

I wish I could remember the name of the woman who helped me, but she was wonderful. Couldn't have been kinder, even though she was juggling multiple requests and clearly very busy. We'll be back just based on the customer service alone.

They have a great indoor plant selection. They have a clearance section with plants that just need a little TLC. I got a flamingo lily and fiddle leaf fig in the clearance section. They were under $10 each. I’m a satisfied customer.

My flower and vegetables plants are doing very good from steins. A little on the pricey side but worth it because the plants are doing great so far with not one dieing as has happened in paste years from other places.

Helpful staff and a great place to get plants that are of high quality. We go here a lot in summer for annual planting and in winter they have good wreaths and holiday decorations.

Great selection of plants throughout the season. But not a great place if you have indepth plant questions. They usually know where stuff is, but for questions: like soil acidity, zones, proper fertilizer usage, plant diseases, etc... they are not knowledgeable! For things like that, it's best to talk to a horticulturist. Usually the landscape companies will have someone on staff that knows ALLLL of that.

I love their house plants selection, I can usually find something I've been keeping an eye out for! I also love checking out what they have in the rescue plant area, I've picked up some orchids from there and they've been doing great, some even are about to bloom again! The only thing is I highly recommend you quarantine any plants you get from here and treat them for pests and/or funguses, I've brought home a plant infested with mealy bugs (I'm kicking myself for overlooking that one), and have found a couple thrips on the leaves of others.
I bought a plant stand from here as well, and it fit perfectly where I wanted it!
The only thing I really wish they had more of was more variety in potting soils and barks, along with sphagnum moss. Otherwise I've been a returning customer, I love shopping here!

I went to the Garden center to hopefully find more miniature cider bushes for my Gnome garden. I was excited to find them and 50% off.

Lots of plants, shrubs, decorative grasses, ceramic pots, houseplants, and home decor. I've generally found what I'm looking for, but I know that there are garden centers with more interesting varieties of geraniums, lilies, hostas, etc. This year (2021) I've found the selection to be slimmer than usual.

No dock. They unload with forklift. See pic of how I entered but you can also come in straight and make a turn to leave. Cars were parking super close to me even though they saw me occupying the spaces so they could get their trees! No respect. Fast unloading! Good people.

Beautiful store with huge selection. I love their line of clothing items. Great choices for gifts! It's one of those stores to take your time in and check all the aisles. So many great surprises around almost every corner.
They changed their checkout area. Not sure if I like that or not. Time will tell. Be sure to sign up as a Stein Card holder.

Great place great staff. We get there christmas tree sale every year after thanksgiving and all my gardening needs. High quality plants at great prices and they also offer a club points program were u get gift cards back on points earned.

I could spend all day in this place! They offer so many unique items that other stores do not carry. Employees are always friendly and willing to help. The garden quality is excellent! Stein's Garden & Home is my favorite store!

We purchased a Christmas tree for a $500 last year. When we set the Christmas tree up this year a small handful of lights were not working correctly. When trying to contact the manufacture we found all the company went out of business. When we called this store to see what they could do they informed us they could do a return but we will lose a $100 and would have to be in store. I understand the policies because I work retail myself. We ended up getting a new tree from them and bring it home and set it up and find out that the remotes they use in store are completely different than the remotes you get. The remotes in the store have more options then what you actually get. Not really sure how that works. They really don't care about their customers. I would not suggest purchasing anything from this company.

I stopped by today at about 4:52ish, not knowing that they close at 5 on sundays. Fortunately, they had an employee in the entrance way to run into the parking lot to tell me that they "closed at five today."

I've purchased a couple of major things here in the past, including my Weber grill, but I don't know I will be back.

My wife was in the store today and they allowed two barking dogs into the store, one of them a pit bull, who could not be controlled by the owners. One of the dogs attacked her in the checkout line and she was absolutely terrified. Uncontrollable animals like this should never be allowed inside of a store. We will never go to Stein's again.
