Penny's Diner

This is the only place for miles. Typical diner atmosphere, the service was friendly and fast. The prices were decent and the food was cooked perfect and was very good. They are open 24hrs so I will definitely be stopping here the next time I'm on this run.

The guy that was working last night he made us a great meal and the meal was wonderful except he couldn't get to pancakes to turn out but altogether it was a wonderful experience I recommend this place to anyone and the people are very friendly

Old style/roadside diner with AWESOME BACON CHEESEBURGERS! I'm taking about thick cut, crispy bacon in QUANTITY (4 or 5 pieces) that overhang the sides and through the burger bun. This was an incredible roadside meal!
Side of onion rings were okay... who cares?! That bacon burger was FANTASTIC!
Also, if you drive a big rig, park across the highway and walk over. No semi parking at the diner since it also has a hotel there and super limited parking.
Open 24 hours too!

This was the perfect choice for us. Traveling cross country and sick of fast food. Very welcoming and amazing food. Definitely recommend 100%. Give it a whirl y'all!!!

Food is average it's convenient the service isn't horrible but feel like the staff is sometimes a little tired not sure if it's because they're over worked as there is only one person who runs the restraunt side for the most part and might at some point have a server but it's mostly just a cook... I feel if they had more than 2 people working at a time in the restraunt and "hotel reception" that maybe the cook would be able to remember orders not judging the cook just simply think that there should be more than a cook doing it all take care of your employees Penny's Diner they are the face of your business 😉 P.S. it is worth the stop when you're hungry

Fantastic diner out in the middle of Wyoming. Staff was very cordial, kept our coffee mugs full. Reminisce of the main street diners, pictures of The Duke, Elvis, James Dean, Lucy and many more. You will want to take the trip, to find this diner.

Douglas, Wy. is only about 34 minutes to the south. Anywhere there is better Food, Service and Atmosphere. This place is a layover for the Rail Road employees

stopped to grab a burger, after we told the cashier what we wanted she tried to change our mind to a different burger that was more expensive, we declined, placed our order only to look in the back and see our food being made by to men with no gloves. got a refund and left! gross!!

As a vegetarian, you might expect that traveling through beef country might be difficult, but I've found that if you're creative and the staff is receptive, you can come up with tasty concoctions. I ordered the Rueben and had them replace the meat with onion rings. It was outstanding and the fries were delicious too! Thanks for making it easy for me to create a great meal!

A truly unique location for a cozy nostalgic diner space surrounded by rolling empty prairie. On a quiet country highway far removed from any other place of business or signs of civilization sits Jenny’s Diner, a literal oasis on this lonely road. Great food and excellent service. You won’t see any advertising but it’s worth the stop.

Updated because we came back through Rawlings. Had the person told us on the 1st trip that they were short staffed instead of snapping that they weren't taking anymore tables, we would have understood. Food was great, cute atmosphere, worth giving them a second chance.

Love this place!! Fresh ingredients cooked right in front of you by friendly people. Exactly what you need on the road. I had the Frisco burger and added grilled onions. SO GOOD! Will stop here every time I drive by.

We came here for caffeine and sugar. The coffee was really good and the cinnamon rolls were really yummy. No idea about the rest of the food. The ambience was nice - definitely old time diner feel.

My daughter and I stopped for lunch at Penny’s yesterday. I had a French dip and she had a chef’s salad. The lunch was delicious, especially the French fries! Not only that, but also, the restaurant was immaculate. The women who were working there were so friendly. We enjoyed a little visit with them. From now on my daughter knows that Penny’s is a welcoming place to stop on her way from Douglas to Gillette.

We have driven by this place in Bill, WY countless times on our many adventures. Today we finally stopped (because we also needed a bathroom break) and decided to eat. Not only was Penny's Diner very clean but the service was great! Our waitress took our order, AND cooked our food which came out fast and delicious!! They even have cute coffee cups available for purchase, which I couldn't resist buying!

Stopped here for our last night of our honeymoon when we toured 9 states. This little place was so comfortable and accommodating. And for the first time on our road trip we were able to get food in the morning! THAT in itself made the stay! (mind you we actually had popcorn for dinner the night before). The staff was helpful and amazingly kind.

Nice people very happy but the vegetables were cold and the bread needed some butter the everything was microwaved we probably caught them in the change of shift but I like that where it is and the decor was nice , brought me back to the 50s

I was never in Penny's Dinner the day I went by there with my cell phone on. I was in there a couple months ago. It was very early in the morning. A new guy was working there. Doing a real good job. Bless his heart.

Stopped for lunch and the cook washed her hands for 2 seconds. Waitress almost came to take our order, stopped and turned around 30 minutes later hadn’t returned. We left. Used to really like the burgers.

Waitress was rude, cashier had an attitude like she’d rather be somewhere else. Got my drink 50 minutes from ordering and my food 59 minutes from ordering. Food was cheap for area and tasted good. Skip if you can.

Wasnt anything to Brag about, I got Breakfast but maybe Lunch would have been better. Its eidible but again Not Much to Brag About. I wont stop again unless I have to have food. It's only thing in 50miles radius. So at least they have that.

Good Double Cheese. Almost clean mens room. Dirty greasy doors and glass in doors. Tables and floors not real clean. But they are open 24/7 due to the Railroad food and Lodging contract. Dirty grease stained clientele coming in at all hours. I am a pipeliner too, but i clean my hands, boots and face off before i eat. I just get my stuff and go. The Pennys in Rawlins Wyo is older but a lot cleaner. The service was good and the young lady cooking was nice

Very disappointed this time! I have stopped here a few times before and had a good experience. Ordered a breakfast CFS with 2 extra eggs, hashbrowns,sourdough toast. When it came the browns were the size of a sausage pattie, no toast, only 2 "not 4 like I asked for" undercooked eggs. Ordered ice to that was stale. Very seldom give bad reviews but this is warranted. Very disapointing!
